Out of Network Billing - We can work with insurance carriers as out of network providers. This means you as the patient set a session rate you pay until you meet your deductible, then once the deductible is met, you pay a coinsurance rate and your insurance carrier covers the remaining cost of the session - coinsurance rates are dependent on your individual plan. We may be able to directly Out of Network bill if you have one of the following health insurances: Moda, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Providence, United Health Care, and Aetna. We are unable to do this type of billing with Cigna. If Out of Network Billing is an option for you, we can set a rate for the sessions you have prior to meeting your deductible; you choose the rate on a sliding scale based on what works for your finances. 

Our session rates are offered on a sliding scale of $125 - $185 and wherever you land on that scale, we are happy to work with you.

Once you meet your deductible, the insurance session rate becomes $185 and you pay your coinsurance rate of that total and insurance covers the rest. 

Jory MHC is in processing of becoming contracted, in-network providers with the following insurances: Moda Health, Regence BCBS, Aetna, Providence, and United Healthcare. Each process has begun and while we don’t have an exact date that we will be official, we are planning to be in-network with these carriers by the end of 2025. Prior to becoming in-network, you can utilize the Out of Network Billing option and then when the process is complete, we can switch over to in-network billing. In this billing option, session fees are based on your copays and coinsurances that are a part of your specific plan and are likely described in your benefit portal.

This option is available if you are planning to pay privately and not utilize insurance for payment. We offer private pay clients a sliding scale for session rate and wherever you land in that range we are super happy to work with you.

For those using private pay, we can send you a monthly statement called a ‘superbill’ that you can submit to your insurance company to try to seek reimbursement for your session cost. We recommend that you check in directly with your insurance about their rates and processes for reimbursement.
